Kate is a Sydney Illustrator and works from her studio at home. When she’s not drawing, she is busy being Mum to her three children and dog, Axel the Whippet.

Kate’s love for art and design began when she was a child. She went on to study Fine Art at High School and then at University as part of her BA (Hons) History of Art Degree. Kate’s passion for botanicals began as a child growing up in the Kent countryside in the UK and visiting the wildflower fields.

Kate has a background in Advertising Sales and Client Service. After having her three children, she re-trained in Graphic Design in 2014 at CATC Design School, Sydney. During this period, Kate rediscovered how much she loved creating illustrations and designs.

Kate understands the importance of building relationships with clients and customers. Most importantly, she works professionally, efficiently, works to deadlines, and communicates effectively.

Kate particularly loves drawing botanicals, birds, and animals. Her favourite mediums are pen and ink as well as graphite pencil. She also works with watercolours and digital rendering.
