MORE ABOUT Kate

Kate is a Sydney illustrator and works from her little studio at home. When she’s not drawing she is busy being Mum to her three children and dog, Axel the Whippet.

Kate’s love for art and design began when she was a child. She went on to study Fine Art at High School and then at University as part of her BA (Hons) History of Art Degree. Kate’s passion for botanicals began as a child growing up in the Kent countryside in the UK and visiting the wildflower fields.

Kate has a background in Advertising Sales and Client Service. After she had her three children, she re-trained in Graphic Design in 2014 at CATC Design School, Sydney. It was during this time that she re-discovered how much she loved creating her own illustrations and designs.

Kate understands the importance in building strong relationships with clients and customers. She works professionally, efficiently, works to deadlines and communicates effectively.

Kate particularly loves drawing botanicals, birds and animals. Her favourite mediums are pen and ink as well as graphite pencil. She also works with watercolours and digital rendering.
